Jazz Nebula on Tuesdays in our Saloon

Jim Lower is a traditional jazz drummer and band leader based in Kansas City, Missouri, who performs across the metro area and beyond, while leading the Jim Lower Jazz Orchestra, a 16 piece big band that headlines every Tuesday for our Jazz Nebula music series in the Saloon at Californos Westport! 

The band features some of Kansas City's very best jazz players often including the following very talented musicians:
Saxes: Brad Gregory, Nick Andrews, Dave Chael, Sam White and Brett Jackson Trumpets: Daniel O'Brien, Fred Mullholland, Dave Aaberg and Stanton Kessler Trombones: Steve Dekker, Chris White, Andrew Anderson and Matt Kern R/S: Doug Perkins, Sam Copeland, Jacob Herzog and Jim Lower.

Parker & Vine at Californos offers a wide range of wonderful menu options that feature appetizers, dinner, small plates and desserts! Guests can enjoy a unique supper club feel to Tuesday evenings, with a full bar that features outstanding American wines and a wide range of beers & well-crafted cocktails! Perfect for out of town guests, tourists, jazz enthusiasts, or locals seeking out special experiences in Midtown, this event takes place weekly, since April 2017 and has sometimes featured vocals from special guests such as Molly Hammer and David Basse.
